Goya...dark dude

Towards the end of his life, Goya was deaf and lived in an old house by himself called "the Deaf Man's Villa."  I'm not sure if it was an assisted living facility or just a coincidence. But he mixed a lot of printers ink into his paints and produced some really dark stuff...literally, and figuratively.  These were collectively referred to as The Black Paintings...the pre-cursor to Jay-Z's first last album

Few I thought were interesting to look at, without getting too nerdy about it.  A lot of these were actually painted on the walls of the villa and they were cut out and framed.
